Putting the Call Out – Help set our 2011 Work Plan

Last night MAXaction participants called close to half of the survey participants that gave us a number to call. We left lots of messages and ran into some numbers that are no longer active, but we have 50+ folks planning to come participate! We’re excited.

Dinner will be served, child care provided, and opportunities to win prizes. We will hear from Transit Police Commander Mike Crebs, State Representative Jefferson Smith, and TriMet officials. But, most importantly, we will be working together to establish ways to make the five Blue Line station areas (Gateway to 162nd) safer and cleaner. Your ideas and support are critical. You will be setting the 2011 MAXaction Work Plan.

Invite your friends, family and neighbors. We will be working to discover the best ideas the community can come up with and we have excellent partners that will support in making the ideas we choose together to work on happen.

Please plan on being with us Thursday November 18 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Glenfair Church (143rd and Burnside – 50 NE 143rd). A short walk from the 148th Avenue MAX station. Call 503-810-8269 to reserve your seat. We need to have enough food for all.
